Skanda: Unveiling Betrayal in Telugu Cinema – A Rollercoaster of Action, Emotions, and Twists in Boyapati Sreenu’s Latest Flick

Written by:

“Skanda” unfolds the compelling tale of a determined individual striving to expose a significant betrayal, seeking acknowledgment from the Chief Ministers of two Telugu states. To grasp the full narrative and the motivations behind pivotal decisions, watching it on the big screen is essential.

In terms of performances, Ram Pothineni injects his trademark energy, albeit the rugged appearance might not entirely suit his character. Sreeleela’s portrayal of the heroine is somewhat lacking depth, while Srikanth and Daggubati Raju deliver satisfactory and commendable performances respectively. The rest of the cast offers average performances.

The film’s forte lies in its ability to provide a mass entertainment experience, typical of Boyapati Sreenu’s style. Viewers are encouraged to revel in the action sequences without over-analyzing the logic. Noteworthy strengths include Ram’s action sequences and Thaman’s impactful background music, enhancing the film’s appeal. However, certain aspects of the plot may lack coherence.

Technically, Boyapati’s direction, while not groundbreaking, navigates the narrative effectively. Thaman’s musical score and the cinematography contribute to a visually immersive experience. However, tighter editing could have enhanced the overall pacing of the film.
