Zoya Akhtar’s live-action musical film “The Archies” will premiere on Netflix on December 7. The movie features debut performances by Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. Set in the 1960s, the film delves into friendship, love, and rebellion through iconic characters like Archie, Betty, Veronica, and more, set in the fictional town of Riverdale. The release date was revealed through a live billboard on Mumbai’s highway. Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha Devitre co-wrote the film, produced by Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics, and Graphic India.
