Legendary off-spinner Muthiah Muralidaran, the sole bowler in International Test cricket history to claim 800 wickets, is the subject of the biopic ‘800’ by Movie Train Motion Pictures. Madhur Mittal stars as Muralidaran, while Mahima Nambiar plays his wife. Directed by MS Sripathy and co-written by Booker Prize winner Shehan Karunatilaka, the film is set for an October 6th release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Sachin Tendulkar praised Muralidaran’s remarkable life at the trailer launch event.
