Prime Video has revealed its upcoming docu-series titled “AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind,” centered on the renowned singer-rapper AP Dhillon, known for chart-toppers like “Brown Munde” and “Insane.” The series will trace his journey from humble beginnings in Punjab to becoming a global icon with Run-Up Records. It offers a blend of personal accounts and interviews, diving into the world of Punjabi hip-hop. Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals at Prime Video, highlights the inspiring tale of Dhillon’s self-made superstardom. The four-part docuseries, produced in association with Passion Pictures and Wild Sheep Content, aims to inspire and will premiere on August 18 in 240+ countries and territories.
