The dramedy, produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments and presented by C Yuvaraju, features Kartikeya in the titular role alongside Neha Sshetty. The debutant director, Clax, helms this captivating narrative set to hit the screens on August 25.

The actor then delved into the origins of his involvement in ‘Bedurulanka 2012’. Kartikeya attributed his connection to the story’s concept of ‘Yugantham’ during the pandemic, a period of heightened apocalyptic fears. He praised the story’s novelty and its potential to engage and entertain modern audiences.

When discussing the execution of the film’s narrative, Kartikeya expressed his satisfaction with Clax’s direction. The actor lauded the situational and organic comedy that propels the storyline over the course of 2.5 hours.

Kartikeya unveiled his character’s name, Siva Sankara Varaprasad, revealing that it was adapted to enhance a pivotal dialogue’s impact. Drawing parallels with the iconic name of Chiranjeevi, Kartikeya disclosed that the character’s designation underwent a transformation to resonate more powerfully.

Addressing his collaboration with Neha Sshetty, Kartikeya described their on-screen chemistry and how Neha seamlessly embraced her role as a village belle, putting to rest initial concerns. The actor emphasized that her portrayal in ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ distinctly differs from her previous role in ‘DJ Tillu’.

Comparisons between ‘RX 100’ and ‘Bedurulanka 2012′ emerged, with Kartikeya clarifying that his decisions to undertake both projects were driven by story appeal. He dismissed any deliberate connection between the films’ similar character names and backdrops, indicating that the choices were not influenced by intention.

Praising composer Mani Sharma’s contribution, Kartikeya attributed the film’s strength to the background music and captivating songs that resonated with audiences. He explained that Mani Sharma’s excitement about the project drove him to give a rare interview, emphasizing the uniqueness of the movie.

In closing, Kartikeya shared insights into his future endeavors, expressing a cautious approach to script selection. He hinted at an action and crime comedy film under UV Creations’ banner and mentioned discussions for several other projects.
